It has been a very busy past couple weeks for the golf maintenance staff at the Ortonville Golf Course and it doesn’t look like it will slow down anytime soon. We had a few irrigation lines that failed this past winter due to the freeze/thaw cycles. All irrigation problems have been fixed and we are able to water as needed. Over the next few weeks greens speeds and smoothness will be the number one focus of the maintenance staff. We will be achieving your midseason height of cut by May 15th and we will also be doing several other agronomic practices to ensure a true and consistent putting surface. A reminder that Ladies League will again be on Wednesdays and Men’s League will be on Thursdays, you still have time to sign up to take part in league play. See you on the course!
